Our Story
Glitz & Glamour Boutique started in Kamara's one bedroom apartment. On this particular day, Kamara was recovering from one of her many surgeries caused by a stomach disease called "Gastroparesis". April 2014 she has surgery that involved placing a pacemaker in your stomach since her stomach is paralyzed. She has suffered from this stomach disease since she was in the 7th grade. Keeping Christ first in her life, Kamara has never given up hope or faith in the doctors finding a cure for Gastroparesis. She has had over a dozen surgeries and procedures due to this disease. Making various pieces of jewelry and accessories, Kamara says that it keeps her mind off of struggling with Gastroparesis. Knowing that she is making a difference in someone's life by wearing a piece of her sparkling jewelry or accessories simply brings joy to her heart. She hopes you feel beautiful and sparkle wearing her various handcrafted jewelry and accessories
